Price, Rubin  and Partners proudly presents: Atamian and His Orchestra…This “conductorless ensemble”, consisting of some of this country’s 36 to 55 finest orchestral players comes to you for $15,000 inclusive, in it’s premiere 05-06 season.  The programs will include 3 piano concerti ranging from Bach to Liszt.

The 05-06 season marks the 30^th anniversary of Atamian’s decisive first prize victory in the 50^th Anniversary Naumburg International Piano Competition at Carnegie Hall.  To commemorate this event, Atamian and His Orchestra will present the world premier of Luis Jorge Gonzalez’s “Concierto Cayiengue”.  This smolderingly provocative yet rhythmically driving piano concerto evokes the style in which Argentineans used to tango.
