Summary:
Winner of the First Prize of the I Latin American Competition for Conductors in Sao Paulo, Brazil in November 1993 sponsored by the Orquestra Sinfonica of the University of Sao Paulo OSUSP a professional Orchestra. He was assistant conductor for the OSUSP for two years. For ten years he was Musical and Artistic director and principal Conductor of the Orquesta Sinfonica Jesus Castillo of Guatemala
