Agnieszka Laska Dancers

The Agnieszka Laska Dancers have come together gradually over the last four years, originating with Laska's initial choreography of three movements from Dreams of a Dancer to the music of Portland-based composer Tomas Svoboda. In April of 2003, for composer Jack Gabel's Dog Star CD release event, the ensemble marked a solid presence on the artistic stage in Portland as the most musical dance company in town.

A prizewinner in several international piano competitions, Alexandre Dossin received the First Prize and the Special Prize at the 2003 Martha Argerich International Piano Competition in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dossin has performed in over twenty countries, including international festivals in Japan, Canada, United States, Brazil and Argentina, in some occasions sharing the stage with Martha Argerich.

She then went on to win First Place Division VII, First Place Music Theatre, and Most Promising Young Singer at the 2001 NMNATS in Santa Fe.

Since winning the coveted Avery Fisher Career Grant at 19, Ms. Eldredge has been performing at the foremost music centers of the United States, Canada, Europe, Far East, and Latin America. Ms. Eldredge has performed as soloist with many of the world's great orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Montreal Symphony and the Royal Philharmonic. She has performed with such distinguished conductors as Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta, Andre Previn, Charles Dutoit, Leonard Slatkin, Krzysztof Penderecki, Yevgeny Svetlanov, Hans Vonk and Sergiu Commissiona.
