First-prize winner of the Geneva International Music Competition and recipient of the Patek Philippe Grand Prize in music, Ms. Xiao has performed with major symphony orchestras throughout the world including L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, North German Radio Orchestra, State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic, Minnesota Orchestra among others. Ms. Xiao's Naxos recording of both versions of the Bartok Viola Concerto with the Budapest Philharmonic has sold over 25,000 copies since its release in 1998 becoming one of the highest-selling recordings of viola music
